Your words stay
on your Mac.

Writing suggestions run on your device. Choose a Qwen 3.5 model in Settings, or use the built-in predictor, spelling fixes and shortcuts without downloading one.

Adjust the tone, add your own abbreviations and choose which apps FreeTypist works in. Its Playground lets you try suggestions before using them elsewhere.

Model downloads and update checks need an internet connection. Optional clipboard and window context are processed locally. You control these in Settings.
